Yoga transformed my life.
Before I fully embraced my yoga mat, I was a TV news reporter, investigative journalist, and corporate marketing creative. My lifestyle was fast-paced and high-stress.
I was disconnected from my body despite having a physical yoga practice for many years. I was burnt out - confused as to why I appeared to have checked all of my life “boxes” yet I felt exhausted, sick, and anxious.
Somewhere along the way, I realized my mat wasn’t merely a place where I “worked out”. It was the place that grounded me, inviting in moments of calm and clarity.
Yoga has always called me back, grounding me and lighting up my inner and outer life in ways I never imagined. It’s allowed me to slow down, connect with an incredible community, and truly discover what makes my heart shine.
While the physical aspects of the practice have without a doubt increased my quality of life, yoga has provided so much more than just increased physical mobility and flexibility. Through life’s beautiful moments and challenging times, yoga has shown me the tools to better ebb and flow with life’s seasons.
That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing the practice of yoga with others! I have more than 200 hours of yoga teacher training experience (and counting). Restorative and slow flow vinyasa style yoga are my favorites but I can blend and adapt to whatever your needs may be.
